John Willis "Willie" O'Daniel, son of James Franklin O'Daniel and Julia Ann Spalding , was born January 21,1872 in Pottawatomie Co, Kansas. He married Nannie Cave August 21, 1895 in at bride's parents residence, Lincoln, Lincoln Co, Nebraska. He died April 06, 1896. Nannie Cave.

Married
J. W. O'Daniel and Miss Nannie Cave were married at the residence of the
bride's parents 510 south Twenty-fifth street, Lincoln, Nebraska, August
21, at 8 p.m. Rev. C. M. Shepherd, pastor of Grace M. E. church of
Lincoln, performed the ceremony. Quite a number of invited guests were
present. A bountiful supper was served.
The groom has received a good education in the common schools and at
Campbell university, and is a many of exemplary habits. He is a son of Mr
and Mrs J. F. O'Daniel who are among the most prosperous citizens of this
vicinity. The bride is a daughter of Mr and Mrs D. W. Cave. She was for
some years, until last spring, a resident of Westmoreland and was one of
our handsomest young ladies as well as the most pleasant. She taught a
successful term of school last year in the Wright district south of
Westmoreland.
The bride and groom reached Westmoreland last Saturday. They will occupy
the old residence on the J. F. O'Daniel farm south of Westmoreland.
