He married Sara Jane "Jennie" Stone September 22, 1869 in Westmoreland, Pottawatomie Co, Kansas. He died May 20, 1921. Sara Jane "Jennie" Stone was born September 08, 1852 in Cumberland Co, Tennessee. She died 1897 in California.

(1865) in Kan.; when m., he and Sarah were both of Pottawatomie Co. They
moved (c 1876) to Calif. At various times, he was a farmer, blacksmith,
miner, and (1905) carpenter. He l. (1892-97) at Piru City, Ventura Co.,
Calif., where he had a farm; (1905-21) at Sawtelle, Los Angeles Co.; and
in Los Angeles.
